Founded in 2022, Nitish Mahajan Architects is a full service architectural, interior and landscape design firm specializing in residential, high rise, commercial and mixed-use structures based in Mumbai & Nagpur. Upon graduating from Nagpur University in 2015, Nitish moved to the United States for his higher studies. Having completed his Masters in Construction Project Management from Northeastern University, Boston, he moved to Washington for his job in an international architectural firm. Upon returning to India, Nitish worked on a variety of projects and was also a part of the core design team for one of the ultra-luxurious residential projects in South Mumbai.

Being an ardent animal and a nature lover, Nitish was always drawn towards the aspects of nature being drawn into the living spaces. The seamless connectivity of the outdoors to the indoors and the free-flowing spaces have always made an impact on his designs and same continues in his design footprints. Much like human well-being, the architectural design always finds a balance between nature, detailing and simplicity. The thoughtful minimalism that acquires this softness and visual comfort, has always been the driving force for Nitish’s design that exudes simplicity which leans towards biophilic design principles.
